Phoenix Cove was founded by Kristina Kwan, a longtime Lakeville resident who grew up in a multigenerational home. After witnessing the challenges immigrant families face in caring for aging loved ones, Kristina set out to create a space where elders—especially those from immigrant and multi-ethnic backgrounds—feel understood, respected, and celebrated. Her vision: a welcoming day center grounded in cultural familiarity, compassion, and community connection.

Today, Phoenix Cove proudly serves adults 18 and older from all backgrounds. From home-cooked meals to native-language staff, every element of the program reflects Kristina’s commitment to culturally responsive care. As both an advocate and community leader, she continues to expand access to day services for underrepresented seniors—uplifting families, honoring traditions, and strengthening the bonds that hold communities together.

Our Mission

To be a cove of care for connection and community through advocacy, resources, and culturally responsive services—bringing dignity, honor, and purpose to the lives of our Asian elders and multi-ethnic participants.

The staff is genuinely attentive and met my mom’s needs. The facility is clean and offers a warm and welcoming environment. Communication with the team is excellent through texts.
